What is a wedding content creator?
A wedding content creator captures photos and short videos throughout your wedding day primarily on their phone, focusing on candid, behind-the-scenes moments. These clips are often delivered within a few days, alongside longer, edited videos showcasing the wedding highlights, ready for sharing with friends and family on social media. Wedding content creators also provide support with recreating any trending videos, transitions, or lip syncs, as agreed with the couple.
What are the key differences between a wedding content creator and a photographer or videographer?
Wedding content creators focus on professionally capturing candid, behind-the-scenes moments, with content designed for social media and delivered within a quick turnaround, often at a more accessible price point. Photographers and videographers, on the other hand, focus on producing professional imagery and films with a more traditional, long-term focus. Many couples choose to book a content creator alongside their photographer or videographer, although it can also be a standalone service. While the services complement one another, they serve different purposes, particularly when it comes to equipment, editing, delivery times and the overall experience. Please note that a wedding content creator does not replace a photographer or videographer.
How would you work alongside our photographer and videographer?
I work alongside your photographer and videographer, not in place of them. I’ll communicate with them beforehand, if given the opportunity, and throughout the day. I’ll respect their space and ensure I don’t interfere with their shots. My role is to complement their work by capturing candid, behind-the-scenes moments from a different perspective.
Where do you cover weddings?
I cover weddings across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Travel within a 30-mile radius of Torquay is included in all packages. For locations beyond this radius, a travel fee of 55p per mile applies to the additional distance, calculated for both the outward and return journeys.
What equipment do you use?
I use a range of equipment, including an iPhone 18 Pro, a Sony ZV-1, a Godox iT20 flash, a DJI Osmo Mobile 8, DJI Mic Minis 2, a Fujifilm Instax SP-2 Share Printer, portable power banks, and a portable clip-on light.
Do you require a supplier’s meal?
For bookings over six hours, I take a short unpaid break and bring my own food, unless you wish to provide a supplier meal, which is entirely optional.
How can I customise my package?
Simply select your preferred package using the ‘+’ icon, then personalise it with any optional add-ons in the same way. Your selections will automatically be added to the enquiry form on this page, where you can complete your details. The form will display your estimated total, excluding any additional travel costs. Travel within a 30-mile radius of Torquay is included, with a charge of 55p per mile for any additional distance (both ways). This will be calculated separately and added to your invoice once I’ve confirmed availability and you’re happy to proceed.
Why is the delivery time 72 hours?
I work full-time alongside my wedding bookings, and a 72-hour delivery window gives me time to organise your footage and edit your highlights with care, without rushing the full collection. If you’d like something sooner, a next-morning edited sneak peek is included in Packages Two and Three, and available as an add-on with Package One.
What can I expect after sending an enquiry?
- I’ll respond to your enquiry via email within 24 hours to confirm my availability.
- If your date is available, I’ll send a copy of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for final review.
- This would be followed by a request for your billing information, so that I can create an invoice with payment details.
- Your booking is confirmed once I receive 20% of the package total, excluding add-ons and travel, as a deposit.
- Shortly after, you’ll receive a Google Forms questionnaire covering everything from wedding day logistics, preferences, and restrictions. This is also where further consent preferences will be managed, and if you agree for Content by Kornelia to use your footage as marketing materials, a separate consent form will be sent to you.
- Don’t worry if you don’t know everything yet, this questionnaire can be completed up until 28 days before the wedding date at the latest.
- The final balance is also due up until 28 days before the wedding date at the latest. If an undisputed payment remains overdue, I may cancel following the cancellation rules outlined in my Terms and Conditions.
If you have any specific requests or would like to discuss your vision in more detail, I’m always happy to chat further via email or arrange a call.
More information can be viewed in my Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
What deposit is needed and when is the balance due?
The deposit is 20% of the package price, excluding extras and travel. The remaining balance is due 28 days before the wedding. For later bookings, we will agree payment and planning deadlines on an individual basis. Prices will only change if we agree to a change to your booking. Please request changes at least 28 days ahead where possible. For more information, see the Terms and Conditions.
What payment methods do you accept?
My preferred payment method is a bank transfer.
